This Opportunity
WSP is searching for a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our East Region (Location in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, Virginia preferred). As part of our Strategic Growth Team, you will be involved in the strategies, accounts, and pursuits that fuel our growth and allow WSP to be part of projects that design the future.
While our ideal candidate will bring experience in the A/E/C industry or in professional services, what we’re looking for is someone with a collaborative, can-do attitude who has a special knack for problem solving, creativity and storytelling. The right candidate will be an empathetic colleague who works to build community through positivity and who can bring home the win!
The Marketing Consultant works with marketing leadership and subject matter experts to execute successful proposal, pursuit and marketing activities for projects in the Eastern United States, nationally, and globally.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, English, Marketing, Planning, or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is also acceptable At least 5 years of experience in marketing in the A/E, professional services, or related industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on persuasive writing/editing and presentation development ability Proven success as proposal manager – experience overseeing, coordinating, and performing all aspects of production, including strategy and messaging, graphics, technical teams, and production Ability to produce high quality materials under deadline pressure Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (high proficiency in InDesign a plus) and Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Strong writing, editing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness and ability to travel We are looking for energetic, motivated, and organized candidates with advanced written and verbal communication skills, and strong critical thinking Simultaneously coordinate multiple pursuits at various stages of development We need someone who is able to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams with limited to no supervision Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies (DO#LI-MQ1
