Essential Duties & Responsibilities

A/E/C industry knowledge of:

Marketing fundamentals, proposal management, and business development principlesTerminology, procedures, and delivery methodsMarketing/CRM databasesCurrent trends and industry eventsTxDOT and Texas municipal market

Job Performance:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate marketing processes following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of statements of qualifications, proposals, and other marketing/business development materialsManage the preparation and draft the content of proposals and SOQsFacilitate and lead storyboarding/proposal strategy planning meetings and development of proposal strategy and winning themesEngage senior technical and management staff to obtain necessary information and commitment for specific pursuitsVerify complex technical solutions, strategies, and themes are easily understandable, readable, and compellingManage proposal schedules and keeps internal staff and subconsultants on task reviews, organizes and edits written documentation to improve clarityMust have a keen eye for details in ensuring proposal compliance requirements are metAssist and/or coach technical staff for presentations and interviewAble to recommend, prepare, and coordinate awards competition entriesCollaborate with marketing team to improve standard materials and make continual improvements to marketing and proposal processProvide graphic design support for a variety of materials including presentations, proposals, and interview boardsAssist other marketing personnel and technical staff with proposal and marketing tasksProvide support to BD activities (capture planning, client feedback, CRM, etc.) Required Credentials Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field5+ years A/E/C marketing experience to include the TxDOT procurement processCPSM certification a plusKnowledge of Adobe CC, MS Office, Deltek Vision Additional Preferred Qualifications Core values similar to oursExcellent writing and editing skillsRelentless attention to detail and organizationExcellent time management skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to independently manage a challenging workload when faced with unexpected changes in priorities and deadlinesAbility to delegate tasksStrong initiative and ability to work without close supervisionStrong ability to work within a collaborative team structure and encourage others to do soA sense of humor and grace under pressureReceive feedback constructivelyStrive towards continuous improvement

Possible Compensation: The pay range for this role is based on several factors including education, experience, training, licensure and certifications, work location, specific job duties and other organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual and spot incentive program (based on individual and company performance).
