The Corp Data of Northern Trust is looking for Senior Master Data Solution Architect with at least 10 years of experience designing and developing Master Data applications and governance of data for the financial industry. Candidate will be involved in designing, development and support of IBM MDM application using Java/J2EE with oracle database, Unix Script and middle ware/ MQ interface. Person will be interacting with various business partners, data owners and custodians for various NT data solutions/initiatives where Master Data Management is part of overall enterprise solution.
Major Duties :
Design and deliver Data integration solutions using IBM MDM Advanced edition V12, , Oracle 19c, IBM MQ9, Micro Services based deployable on Cloud foundry. Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows using the IBM MDM tool Maintain the end-to-end vision of the data flow diagram and develop logical data models into physical data repositories Act as data custodian for Party, Account and Legal agreement domains with Northern Trust. Identify and support new service opportunities and data needs from various consuming systems interested in consuming mastered data . Lead deliveries of business projects and sub-programs, will remain responsible and accountable for all MDM solutions. Evaluates and makes recommendation on techniques, practices, or technologies that would reduce production incidents. Also does work to ensure continuous process improvements. Closely work with MDM Core, ETL, Service and Support team for various design, analysis and production INCs to guide them. Collaborate and Partner with Enterprise architects, Data Governance and data strategists within NT on master data strategy, architecture standards, guidelines, processes, and expertise to consistently address strategic enterprise master data issues Communicates with source and consuming system business partners and architects on release changes, MDM data and design changes. Actively engage with development team to fix the root cause of the issue/incident and monitor it, until end to end solution is implemented. Participate in development as per devOps model and continuously engage in development activity to better understand the release and upcoming features. Provide suggestion for automation for the manual processes and engage with offshore team on implementing automation. Excellent written and oral business communication to explain the system incident or development work. Implementing the features using Agile methodology.
Knowledge :
Hands on experience in IBM MDM with excellent understanding of PME( Probabilistic matching engine) for at least 10 years. Excellent hands on experience in Java/J2ee is required for at least 15 years. Should have enough experience or knowledge of Azure Data services including Azure Data Lake gen2, Azure Synapses, Azure Event Hub and Analytics and Data Bricks to support various ongoing data solutions. Knowledge of Snow Flake is add on. Should have experience in customizing and coding Suspect Survivorship framework in IBM MDM AE. Must have prior work experience in DataStage (or any ETL tool). Full understanding IBM MDM AE Data Model is must. Development, designing Probabilistic matching engine of IBM is must with experience in integrating it with IBM MDM AE. Deep technical knowledge of the data landscape and latest IT trends across industry. Strong data analysis skills needed to understand and establish linage from multiple legacy source systems and present it to partners. Must have critical thinking and investigative approach to resolve multiple data issues across many source systems connected to MDM. Strong leadership skills with experience in leading multiple teams Experience in Banking industry is must specially in Asset Servicing, Wealth and Asset Management domain. Clear understanding of the Agile Methodology and leadership experience for at least 10 years Azure Certification in data is nice to have.
