Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to mechanical systemsAssume the mechanical lead on many projectsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplinesCoordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on scheduleTrack the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work efforts with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon scheduleWork with the Project Manager, Regional Controller and Regional Director for project reviews with corporate management as neededPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildingsProfessional Engineering (PE) LicenseStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCADDemonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination and project management experiencePrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasisHealthcare, Science and Technology and/or Civic facilities experience
