As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design and implementation of mechanical systems for various projects. Working closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, sustainable designs that meet project requirements and objectives. Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Hybrid Salary: $131,040-$150,000 Level: Senior **General Responsibilities** + Lead the design and analysis of HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. + Perform energy modeling and simulation to optimize system performance and achieve energy efficiency goals. + Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs. + Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports for bidding and construction purposes. + Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that mechanical systems are installed and commissioned according to design requirements and applicable codes. + Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters, fostering their professional development and growth. + Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and sustainability practices **Position Requirements** + Registered Professional Engineer (PE License) + 8+ years of engineering design and project management experience + Experience with all aspects of HVAC design + Experience with design-build projects. + Experience performing energy studies, audits, and analysis. + Involved with working knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan. + Experience and knowledge of the state and local codes. + Comfortable and willing to present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff. + Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering + Experience working on projects with the Division of State Architecture (DSA) permitting process is beneficial. **Benefits** Upon eligibility, some of the benefits offered include: + 13 Observed Company Paid Holidays a year + Medical, Dental, Vision Plans + Employer-paid Group Life Insurance + Supplemental Insurance Plans such as: Accident, Critical Illness, and Pet Insurance + Tuition & Training Assistance + 401(k) program offers immediate vesting and employer match is 100%, not exceeding 4% of employee compensation Click here (https://app.strivebenefits.com/p2s) to learn more about our benefits **What sets P2S apart?** For 15 years in a row, P2S has been regarded as a “Best Place to Work” by our employees.
