We're seeking a Senior Procurement\r\nCategory Manager to join our Digital and IT category management team. This is\r\nan exciting opportunity to lead a growing team during accelerated growth across\r\nthe NHS and Public Sector. You'll take overall responsibility for running a\r\nsub-category, developing strategic sourcing programs, and delivering projects\r\nwithin key markets. This role predominantly home based,\r\nwith travel to our office based in Salford and to supplier/ client sites when\r\nrequired.

What you'll be doing:

Actively being responsible for the marketplace through the\r\n development of key strategies for supplier and contract management.Supporting in the delivery of departmental revenue targets,\r\n ensuring opportunities for framework growth are identified and\r\n implemented.Creating, developing, and handling a category portfolio of\r\n compliant solutions, including framework agreements.Developing and implementing short and long-term category\r\n strategies.Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of buying staff of\r\n various levels.Running multiple programs and developing positive\r\n relationship management regimes with key suppliers, ensuring maximum\r\n return on investment on commercial spend.

What you’ll bring:

Public Sector procurement and experience of working with the\r\n NHS and/or Public Sector Healthcare.Experience of UK Public Contracts Regulations and the New\r\n Procurement Act.Experience and/or knowledge of contract Terms and Conditions.Project management experience.CIPS Level 6 qualified.Prior experience of leading small teams.

It would be great if you had:

Knowledge and/or experience of the IT market and its supply\r\n chains.Broad knowledge of  the tech markets .Understanding of NHS Terms and Conditions.
