Senior Software Engineer Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in a Support Specialist role. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems, providing technical support to our clients, and contributing to the enhancement of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C, C++, Java, and Linux, with a proven track record in supporting complex software solutions in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support to our clients, addressing their queries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of software-related problems.

System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance and reliability of our software systems, proactively identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Incident Management: Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets, triage issues effectively, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams for resolution while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to diagnose and resolve technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure efficient handling of future incidents.

Customer Communication: Communicate with clients in a clear and professional manner, providing updates on the status of their issues, offering guidance on best practices, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in a Software Engineer role with a focus on technical support and troubleshooting.

Strong proficiency in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, and Linux

Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify root causes of issues and ability to debug.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure)

Experience with Elasticsearch

Experience with Splunk and Jenkins
