What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Software Engineer / Architect to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions that push the boundaries of technology. Collaborating with a dynamic team of technology enthusiasts, you will create cutting-edge applications, leveraging the latest tools and techniques in the industry. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design and develop a best-in-class, secure, and interactive product/platform by engaging respective team members and integrating various tools, technologies, and applications.Support a diverse portfolio of application integration requests and collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and the development team to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.Manage development and integration projects by defining clear scopes, functional and integration requirements, and specifications.Take responsibility for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our portal to address the evolving needs of business segments.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools, technologies, and platforms by evaluating options, considering pros/cons/risks, and embracing ambiguity and changing requirements.Interacts with the Government regarding Software Engineering / Architecture technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Software Engineering / Architecture area of responsibility.Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

What You Will Need:

A CURRENT and ACTIVE Top Secret (TS) / SCI federal security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) PolygraphEIGHT (8)+ years' of full-stack development experience in web applicationsBachelor degree can be substituted for 4 years of experienceExperience in application deployment to the cloud (AWS / Azure).Experience with cloud platformsExperience in scripting languagesKnowledge and working experience in modern UI/JavaScript frameworksHands-on experience in developing Microservices, Web API, and token-based authentication mechanisms for web API/Microservices.Experience with containerization technologies

What Would Be Nice To Have:

AWS CertificationExperience with Python, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, and SQL, along with experience working with databases like MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.Experience with AngularJS, REACT.JS, Node JS, BootstrapExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, capable of taking ownership of issues, breaking them down, and seeking the right help for resolution.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
