Position Description:
Defines and implements test strategies, scenarios, and steps for automated and functional testing of software applications using Cucumber, Serenity, and SOAP/REST Application Programming Interface (API) testing. Creates mock services to use microservices in Cloud based Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms and tests enterprise applications deployed to Cloud environments. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) creating automated test solutions in a digital brokerage solutions environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) creating automated test solutions in a digital brokerage solutions environment.

Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing automated code using Selenium Web driver with Java and validating business functionalities during each phase of the project for different User Interface platforms; developing automated script for REST APIs using Java, REST Assured, RIT (Rational Integration Tester) to test REST APIs and back-end layers; developing Automated scripts for Mobile App testing using Appium Driver with Perfecto Cloud and Seetest platform; and implementing Serenity-BDD Cucumber automation framework with Gherkin language, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit.DE performing DevOps Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD) and Continuous Testing (CT) with source control management tools including Bitbucket and GitHub and using Docker with Bamboo, Jenkins pipeline, Git Stash, Maven, and uDeploy; performing Cloud/Infrastructure monitoring and logging mechanisms, using Splunk, Dynatrace, Firebase, and Datadog within an Agile development environment.DE developing virtual assets to implement service and data virtualization across multiple applications, SORS, APIs using Parasoft tool; deploying virtualized assets to Tomcat servers and configuring them to integrate with the underlying APIs, SORS to perform automated UI testing, API testing, and data validations; working with developers to build virtualized front-end and back-end infrastructure, APIs, SORS, and virtualized data required for UI and back-end development; configuring and maintaining testing pipeline continuous testing with virtualized services and data to drive validation on any code changes within a testing environment.DE performing all stages of the development/testing lifecycle – end-to-end automated covering unit, integration, functional, and acceptance testing for multiple insurance products and retirement products on a digitized global servicing platform; developing REST Services to cater UI needs using Spring Boot, JDBC Template and PostgreSQL; building standards, process and criteria for building, maintaining, and executing regression suites; publishing Automation Status reports with stakeholders in daily scrum meetings and ensuring delivery on schedule; and developing UI features/functionalities as per the requirement using HTML5, SCSS, Bootstrap, Angular material and Angular.#PE1M2

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
