Senior Transit Planner/Project Manager | Orlando, FL
VHB’s Orlando, FL office is seeking an experienced Senior Transit Planner/Project Manager to join our Transit Planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team across diverse disciplines, providing exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of professional experience in consulting in the transit planning field and with the management of projects for municipal, transit, regional, and/or state agencies with a particular emphasis on the Central Florida region and the Florida Department of Transportation.
The location of this position is flexible and can be based out of any of our Florida offices, as well as remotely, providing the candidate lives in within the state of FL.

Minimum of 8-11+ years of professional experience in transit planningBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in transportation, planning, civil engineering, or related fieldAICP certification preferredExperience in project management, including organizing and training junior-level staff on project componentsExperience in design, plan review, and/or construction managementExperience conducting transit analysis, preparing reports, and developing transit development plans Experience coordinating with public agency staff, private consultants, stakeholder outreach teams, and professionals in other disciplines for successful project completionAbility to regularly visit client locations in-person throughout the Central Florida regionWe are VHB!
