About the team 

The Roku SEO team is responsible for ensuring SEO best practices are followed all throughout the web development and content creation process. Our job is to also come up with strategic ideas to drive organic growth through visits, sales, and other priority KPIs. Our team supports multiple teams throughout Roku, partnering with them to help be a key team member across the growth marketing organization.  

 

About the role 

Roku is seeking an SEO Coordinator, Content & Growth who first off, passionate about SEO and its influence and role in marketing. This role will include doing in-depth research to help come up with creative strategies, fine-tune SEO optimizations that are in place, and help Roku continue adapting to the ever-changing search landscape across search engines.  

 

What you’ll be doing  Owning SEO responsibilities for Roku products, marketing pages, and subdomain properties  Helping lead and drive SEO strategies and developing new content creation opportunities  Conduct keyword research tasks to help uncover new ranking opportunities and ways to improve current optimizations in place  ​​Analyze competitor traffic acquisition strategies  Regular technical SEO monitoring across tools and dashboards  Reporting on the results of SEO initiatives starting with early benchmarking and regular progress updates  Partner and directing SEO strategies with supporting professional services & SEO agency  Share industry updates across teams to help educate and inform 

 

We’re excited if you have  2-3 years SEO experience, in-house preferred but not required  A passion and for SEO and learning more about the digital landscape  Understanding of core technical SEO ideas including Structured Data, Page Speed,   Experience working with core SEO tools including Google Analytics, GA4, Google Search Console, Conductor, Content King, SEM Rush, and more.  A comprehensive grasp of search engine algorithms and the ability to monitor and report on updates and potential impacts  An understanding of International SEO best practices  A collaborative attitude, skill in forming and maintaining partnerships, and the ability to inspire and energize both technical and non-technical team members from various departments, including senior leadership  #LI-AL1Benefits
