Server Administrator Team Lead

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is seeking a Server Administrator Team Lead with a Secret security clearance to support the Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The lead will be responsible for coordinating system administration activities across NIPR networks, Government Cloud, and standalone/non-networks environments. As a lead, you will manage a remote team of server administrators, database administrators, cloud administrators, and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs). You will assign work, set task priorities/deadlines, and identify coaching opportunities for process improvement. Your work will help maintain the operation and security of the underlying operating system, including installing the latest vendor patches and applying the latest release of the applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Additionally, you will work with the Database Administration team in understanding changes and work required on the MS SQL Databases, and ensuring all work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction. The lead will plan, coordinate, and monitor major site revisions and new site deployments after mutual agreement with the government POCs, and ensure that all development is executed using an Iterative Agile approach. The lead will also ensure that all tickets are answered and resolved promptly to the customer’s satisfaction. The lead will collaborate with the rest of the team in ensuring that the continuous Risk Management Framework (cRMF) process is effectively conducted and ensure the System’s Authority to Operate (ATO) is maintained in a satisfactory manner.

 

The lead will be expected to stay current and have a working understanding of relevant new database technologies, as well as all relevant cyber security policies, regulations, STIGs, and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs). In addition, the administrator will be expected to notify users of all Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI).

 

Finally, the lead will serve as a point of contact with the Government for administrative communications and coordination of work.
