Our sales revenues exceed $700 million with projections surpassing $1 billion in next few years.  We are actively looking for candidates that can support our mission of providing exceptional customer service to a critical national industry.   Responsibilities of a Service Manager entail: Sell customer repair and service labor by prospecting and identifying potential customers, and directly calling on customers for their repair work Review all service repair orders making sure everything is complete and the total repair order is in accordance with the original estimate and any supplement which may have been added Delegate and schedule work appropriately throughout the department Ensure work on repair orders is performed with efficiency, accuracy, high quality, and following all dealership and insurance company standards Monitor data, numbers, customer pricing, and quotas within the department to identify present and future needs of the company Develop, implement, and maintain proper processes in conjunction with the company and manufacturers Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job Develop, train, and coach employees on tasks such as selling, customer relations, policies, procedures, etc., and identify career advancement opportunities for employees Maintain appropriate communication within and between all departments of the company Promote safe work habits and ensure that safety rules are followed Build and maintain business relationships with vendors and customers Advise direct reports on complicated jobs, techniques, and approaches through troubleshooting or teaching practices. Resolve errors through troubleshooting as required Appraise employee performance through coaching, reviews, and evaluations as appropriate Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials Review and appraise the results of activities within the department and take appropriate action as necessary Collaborate with Human Resources to interview, screen, and hire employees The requirements to be a Service Manager for CIT Trucks, LLC include: Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or GED required 3 years of retail service industry experience preferred Prior supervisory experience at the Foreman or Service Advisor level preferred Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL and obtain a DOT medical card CIT Trucks, LLC. provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package that includes: Paid holidays and PTO Choice between 3 wide-ranging medical plans with prescription coverage Option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts Access to dental and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Company paid life insurance, as well as additional voluntary life insurance for self and family 401(k) retirement planning that has a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4%
