SharePoint Online Developer Springfield, IL Remote/Hybrid 2-3 days a week working on-site. Job Description: We seek a skilled and experienced SharePoint Online Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, along with experience migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online, and expertise in various related technologies, third-party plugins, workflows, and tools. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, development, and customization, including web parts, workflows, and third-party plugins. Responsibilities: + Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions to meet business requirements. + Design and implement workflows and forms using SharePoint Designer and PowerApps. + Create and manage external and internal content types, ensuring data consistency and integrity. + Utilize SharePoint Online search capabilities to optimize content discovery and user experience. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and support. + Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. + Perform SharePoint Online administration tasks, including user management, permissions, and site configuration. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online solutions, workflows, and integrations. + Stay updated on the latest SharePoint Online features, best practices, and industry trends. + Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance when needed. Requirements: + A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. + Five to Seven years of SharePoint Developer experience with at least three years of experience with SharePoint Online development and customization. + Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, administration, and development best practices. + Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Flow). + Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CAML. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Microsoft certifications in SharePoint or related technologies (optional but preferred). + Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development (preferred).
