What this job involves: The Shipping and Receiving Technician position at JLL involves reporting directly to the Shipping and Receiving Manager. In this full-time role, your main responsibilities will be overseeing and documenting the receipt of packages, parcels, and supplies, storing items in their designated areas, and preparing items for shipment. Attention to detail is key in this position, as you will manage the logistical aspects of a high volume of incoming and outgoing items.

As a Shipping and Receiving Technician, you will exercise independent judgment to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize your workload during standard business hours. You will provide a diverse range of support services to both JLL's clients and the organization as a whole. Therefore, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success.

What your day-to-day will look like:  

Perform shipping and receiving dutiesCleaning & storage management of shipping containersOperate box truck to collect items around the plantFork lift operationsComputer skills with experience with Microsoft officeTeam player, and hard worker with good interpersonal skills

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

1+ years of relevant experience as forklift operatorCompletion of an applicable technical training program is desirableAt least one year working in Bio-Pharma or Pharmaceutical industry or similar industry preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalentValid NY State Driver’s LicenseDOT & IATA Certifications-preferred at hire, but must obtain within 3 months of start using in house training resources.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

38,480.00 – 40,560.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
