Role: Software Developer – Within the IT Risk & Compliance department, the analyst is responsible for analysis, design, and development within the AML suite of applications. This role is expected to analyze requirements and opportunities, work with SME and architect on component level designs, conduct data analysis, and have hands-on activity working on implementation including coding and enhancing scripts, config as code, and debugging production issues.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with SME and Business Analyst to build new End-to-End solutions, develop solutions under Tech Lead ensuring solutions meet all requirements.  - Address and triage escalated issues, at off hours from time to time due to 24x6 operational nature. - Develop and configure within AML/Compliance products such as Fircosoft and LexisNexis. - Write and debug SQL queries from databases (such as Oracle). - Work some off hours as demanded by projects, operations, and need of the on-shore team and stakeholders, such as release, testing and/or critical bug resolutions.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: Must have: - 3+ years of overall industry experience - A College or University degree in Computer Science or related discipline - Solid technical background with at least 3 years of demonstrated track record in end-to-end software development life cycle and successful delivery of technical solutions using modern techniques - Technical skills using Java, SQL, Unix, and MQ - Solid technical data analytics, design, and implementation experience – Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have: - Current domain working experience in AML, OFAC Screening, and Fraud prevention applications - Hands on experience in Web Services, DataStage, and Java. - Experience working with XML transformation and consumption of messages from queues will be a big plus - ADO, ServiceNow, and Confluence - Industry certification is preferred (such as DevOps, DataStage, Oracle, Java J2EE, etc.) - Banking services experience is preferred
