As a Principal Software Developer on the OCI Specialized Cloud Programs team you will be responsible for developing new applications and enhancements using Oracle Application Express (APEX) to drive efficiencies, visibility, and improve process workflows. As a member of a small development team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the complete development lifecycle and take ownership of multiple, diverse projects. You will be working with a non-technical team, so the ability to communicate and explain technical concepts in simple and easy to understand terms is critical. 

You will be responsible for: 

Designing, building, and supporting web applications primarily using the Oracle APEX tool set.  Working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical design specifications for new development. Performing testing, debugging, change control functions and application support. Optimizing existing applications and scripts for both usability and performance. Authoring clear and concise documentation of system builds and application configurations. Following best practices to evaluate new features and technologies, and implement changes.  Collaborating on planning and identifying product and project dependencies and risks. Leading, driving best practices, excellence, and improvements within the team
