Job Duties: Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a manager of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.23348)

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software development manager-related occupation. Position requires:

1. Java, Python, and C++;

2. Distributed systems;

3. Paxos;

4. RAFT;

5. Software design;

6. SQL and PLSQL;

7. Databases: Relational, no-SQL or Key-Value;

8. Software Development project planning, reviews, and feedback; and

9. Spearhead best practices and support data-driven decision making.
