McCallie Associates, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Application Engineer who will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with software developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to streamline and scale the testing process. Serve as Tier 3 support for escalated application issues, providing deep-dive analysis and resolution in collaboration with technical teams. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including installation guides, user manuals, and support playbooks for use by Tier 1 and Tier 2 field support engineers. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing efficiency, issue resolution, and user experience. Assist in deployment planning and post-deployment validation to ensure successful implementation of application updates and releases.
