Overview
Honeywell\nInternational Inc. is seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity as a Sr.\nExport Compliance Officer/Compliance Assurance Analyst reporting to the Director\nof Corporate Compliance Assurance.  The\nCompliance Assurance program involves monitoring compliance-related activity\nboth within the Compliance teams and by business or functional personnel\nthroughout Honeywell’s business operations. The Sr. Export Compliance Officer/Compliance Assurance\nAnalyst will be engaged in a wide range of compliance assurance activities specifically\nfocused on ensuring compliance with U.S. laws and regulations for export,\nimport, trade sanctions, anti-corruption, and government contracts; and\nenhancing the function’s overall compliance program.  Specific areas of focus include:

Sustainment of the compliance assurance program for Honeywell’s global operations, based within the Compliance Center of ExcellenceManagement of government authorizationsUsage of proper systems for transferring technical informationTransaction/third-party screening across all the areas of compliance – export, import, trade sanctions, customs, anti-corruption, government contacts complianceData governance, particularly as it relates to identification and management of controlled data in different business system environmentsProper usage of systems for approving sourcing and manufacturing transitionsEffective integration of acquired businesses into Honeywell’s Export Compliance practicesKey ResponsibilitiesStandardizing and automating compliance assessments across countries, businesses, and legal entitiesPerforming transaction testing and business data analysisDeveloping and maintaining a comprehensive mapping of compliance risks and existing control measures to be tested under the programAttaining and applying knowledge of business systems and control systems that house relevant data related to compliance activitiesDesigning and implementing testing methods to measure the effectiveness of compliance controlsDesigning and communicating a risk assessment framework to illustrate the nature and severity of vulnerabilities, consistent with firmwide enterprise risk management frameworksActively participating in developing and implementing sustainable corrective actions arising from compliance assurance evaluations, as well as other investigations and auditsDeveloping metrics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators based on the compliance assessmentsProactively identifying, evaluating, and managing export risks in a way that enables Honeywell to deliver sustainable business growthSupporting the development of policies, procedures, and training materialsU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
