Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will be handling a variety of accounting tasks, including account and balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general accounting duties. This position is in the accounting industry and requires expertise in forensic accounting. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records. • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to verify the correctness of the financial statements. • Handle bank reconciliations to confirm that the company's records are in agreement with bank statements. • Undertake general accounting duties to maintain the financial health of the organization. • Utilize forensic accounting skills to investigate financial discrepancies and provide solutions. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license is strongly preferred. • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. • Extensive knowledge and practical experience of Forensic Accounting. • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills. • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms. • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
