Sr. Analyst - eCommerce & Customer Insights

We are seeking a highly analytical manager to support our growing eCommerce business within the heavy-duty parts industry. This role will uncover customer behavior insights, identify opportunities within product categories and customer segments, and drive data-driven strategies to enhance online sales. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, web traffic data) and internal ERP data, with the ability to integrate datasets for a comprehensive view of eCommerce performance. This role focuses on delivering actionable insights to improve business decisions, customer engagement, and digital commerce strategies. A successful candidate would feel comfortable analyzing a problem in depth from a general unguided prompt all the way to recommended action.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze digital customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.Link Google Analytics/web traffic data with ERP sales data for a unified view of engagement and purchasing patterns.Develop insights into customer segmentation, purchasing behaviors, and product performance.Provide analytical insights to support recommendation engines and improve product discoverability.Identify gaps and opportunities in product categories, pricing trends, and customer journeys.Support predictive analytics to anticipate customer demand and enhance eCommerce performance.Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards to track eCommerce performance.Provide insights into customer lifetime value (LTV), churn analysis, and retention strategies.Assist in A/B testing strategies to optimize website performance.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams for data-driven decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, eCommerce, or a related field.4–6 years of experience in digital analytics, business intelligence, or eCommerce analytics.Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and ERP data integration.Expertise in Excel and SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, product taxonomies, and digital merchandising.Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a B2B eCommerce environment.Knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, and varied data platforms.Exposure to AI-driven analytics and automation in digital commerce.Understanding of customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and recommendation algorithms.
