Sr. Casino Insights Analyst

The Senior Analyst, Casino Insights  is responsible for driving market research programs that allows GCO to provide customer centric decisions and improve guest experience. This role will provide insights on guest behavior, preferences, and satisfaction as well as market landscape and brand perceptions via a wide array of programs such as: a robust guest satisfaction survey program, competitive tracking tool, and other on demand surveys. This role is responsible for supporting the Director, Global Insights and Analysis and for identifying opportunities for business change and enhancing guest behavior. The role will also be responsible for leading collaboration amongst the other analysts within the team, providing support and guidance on best practices and proactively sharing knowledge. Specific action will include research, development of templates for reporting and metrics, data analysis and trending, presentations and various adhoc required by the evolution of the role. The role is also the key interface with other analytics groups both within Global Casino Operations and the company more broadly. The Senior Analyst will also need to communicate information proactively and effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including presenting findings and highlighting recommendations.

Essential Functions:

Design, develop and execute market research projects Lead Voice of the Player program – internal dataset, Qualtrics management, dashboard creation and presentation of results Lead deep dive analysis and ad hoc projects to become the customer voice– internal data set and external research projects – able to summarize and deliver key takeaways to leadership and other stakeholders  Build and maintain technical workflows to optimize new and existing projects with relevant stakeholders to ensure guest data/insights are taken into consideration Analyze and present results to stakeholders across organization

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum Discipline/Major:  Marketing, Psychology, Customer Research or related majors Required Certifications:  Qualtrics XM platform, discover, text analytics programs Required Years and Area of Professional Experience:  5 years market research, consumer insights, data analyst and/or cruise experience Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills:  Microsoft:  Power point, excel including email & office tools Other Requirements: Work effectively within a diverse team, proven ability to manage a dispersed team Preferred Experience & Type:  Data Analyst, Senior Analyst, Research Manager Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Project management tools

Decision-Making:

Tactical:  Decisions focus on intermediate-term issues. The purpose of decisions made at this level are to help move CCL closer to reaching strategic goals. Outcomes are predictable. After a decision is made by Top Executive Leadership, the next phase is to take the needed steps to implement it.  Examples are: The amount of money required to implement, which advertising agency to promote a new service or to provide an incentive plan to employees to encourage increased revenue.

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel:  Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely.

Work Conditions:  Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s salary $60,600-$100,000.  Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
