Could This Be For You?We are seeking Sr. Corporate Acocunting Manager to join our Austin, TX location. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and manages the Corporate Accounting Team. This position will afford you the opportunity of being a business partner to Operations, Treasury, Mergers and Acquisitions, Human Resources, Payroll, Tax, Revenue, and Real Estate.
The hired candidate’s success will depend on his/hers ability to build operational excellence and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Your Impact Direct and lead the overall strategic vision and performance of the Corporate Accounting TeamMaintaining a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve accounting operations and manage risksManage assigned aspects of external and internal audit activitiesManagement and oversight of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close processManage the monthly reporting and analysis of certain key balance sheet and income statement accountsDrive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of the internal controlsReview and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controlsMaintain and update internal SOX documentation and controls, reconciliations, monitor operational/industry/regulatory changes and develop new processes and policies to accommodate accordinglyLead the performance management, development and education of assigned team members.Support financial due diligence and financial integration of acquisitionsManage and review of staff prepared reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysisProvide support on ad-hoc projects
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accountingActive CPA or CPA equivalent Minimum of 8 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility and scope aligning to essential functions or 4 years of public accounting experienceExperience with publicly traded companyAccomplished management experience with a sizable team consisting of employees at a variety of levelsExperience with SOX, Flowcharts, Process Improvements and US GAAPExperience interfacing with external and internal auditorsAdvanced-level experience using Excel, including the ability to work with big data, complex tables and look-ups
