As the Sr. Cost Accountant, you will be providing financial leadership to the operation business decision to maximize long-term value, cash flow and gross margin improvement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance/Controlling with 2 years in a manufacturing environment with strong emphasis in standard costing. You will provide accurate and timely financial reporting, variance analysis and define and implement corrective actions based on those analysis to meet our business objectives. In addition, this position will offer the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of KPI’s including how we can optimize it in a way that helps to generate superior business results for the company; as well as support continuous improvement activities to achieve world class financial reporting standards.

 

Analytical support for all activities and processes of the local Site Leadership Team. Key processes include monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and compliance matters. Responsibilities also include: analysis and evaluation of the Plant’s monthly operating results, annual budgets, monthly production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting. Provide analytical support including but not limited to customer profitability analysis and pricing etc.

 

Salary range for this position is $85k-110k per year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver accurate and timely financial projections, forecasts, and analysis of relevant financial and operational information as required for the leadership teamResponsible for the COGS ensuring that accurate costing is applied in manufacturing based on the standard costing methodologyAnalyze and report on variances against standard costing; partner with manufacturing and engineering management to review results and take corrective actionsReview of month end results: P&L, GM including variance analysisAd hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business requirementsSupport Operations with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending.Open to assist in ad hoc assignments and support on general Finance tasks and Pricing tasksPerform other related duties as assigned Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent

Experience:
