As a Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in engineering the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. We are looking for someone with experience building backend services and automating mission critical software and services to help shape the future of automated testing for our mobile experiences. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to develop and execute comprehensive test automation strategies for our mobile platforms. 
 

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the overall quality of the products developed within the native mobile apps, together with other team members. Agile is key to our journey and you will play a big role in building and developing the agile organization. You will work together with our Quality Engineering team in driving their test strategies towards major initiatives and continuous product development. You will be responsible for adapting standards in automated testing solutions. You will look to match the best testing technology and solutions to our pipelines, constantly on the hunt for ways to improve things. You will also be hands-on with our scrum teams' day-to-day work, interacting with developers, product managers, and designers daily to deliver on sprint goals. You are a software engineer and thrive on applying your technical skills to build elegant solutions to meet quality goals. You have a big picture view of how web/mobile infrastructure works, how code gets built, tested, and deployed. You know how to make the end-user experience great. 

Responsibilities Design and develop automated test frameworks, tools and test suites for use in mobile development and testing cycles. Write and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and API testing. Practice and enable modern, agile test engineering practices like Test-Driven Development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to actively participate in design reviews to understand product requirements and define test cases. Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to improve testability and maintainability of mobile and API codebases. Integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for regular execution and reporting. Monitoring and analyzing test results to identify issues, regressions, and performance bottlenecks, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Researching and implementing best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of mobile and API testing processes. Contributing to the overall quality engineering strategy and participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies. Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mobile and API testing to continuously improve skills and practices.  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 5 years’ experience in programming languages commonly used for mobile automation, such as Java.  5+ years of related Software Development Test Engineering experience.  Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with mobile testing frameworks/tools (e.g., Appium). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team environment.  Prior experience with Agile/Scrum and Test-Driven Development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.  Benefits

The annual base salary range is $90,000 -$125,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
