Senior Finance Analyst, Platforms & Marketplace

The Platforms & Marketplace (P&M) division is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role interacts with all levels of the organization & will partner with the business to drive commercial discussions forward. You will operate as part of a globally distributed team and thrive in a fast-pace environment. Do you have excellent financial knowledge and experience collaborating with partners across a business area? Do you know how to translate financial information so it is accessible to everyone? Then this role is for you!

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with key business partners to optimize commercial activities

Translate current business drivers into reliable Monthly Forecasts and the Annual Plan

Ability to identify and quantify risks and opportunities and articulate these trends to business partners of varying levels and functions

Independently prepare monthly and weekly management reports, variance analyses, trend analysis and financial review documents

Use Business Intelligence tools to drive stronger insight into the business

Support and collaborate with partners in this business area to find opportunities for improvement in process, commercial agreements, customer experience and profitability

Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by business partners

Develop best-practice techniques along with other members of the P&M finance team to improve coordination and communication of reporting and analysis

Who you are:

Excellent interpersonal skills and evidenced ability to partner with varying levels of management, across a highly-matrixed organization

High level of intellectual curiosity that drives a sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement in your preparation and presentation of financial analyses

Strong strategic business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision-making

Dedicated approach towards business problems and operational efficiency

Strong spreadsheet, data-management, and financial modelling skills

Shown understanding of financials and budgeting processes; ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format

Well organized with the ability to work towards tight time constraints

Degree educated with excellent academic record and minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience

Hyperion Planning/Essbase experience advantageous

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $61,500.00 to $86,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $98,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
