Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer to join our Professional Services team having extensive experience developing and implementing solutions for integrating applications across platforms. This role will involve integrating applications into Cerner Millenium as well as other custom enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with client clinical staff, analysts, and IT professionals to understand and develop solutions to solve complex integration problems.
What you will work onDevelopment and Customization
Design and develop custom solutions for our integrated partners using a variety of languages including JavaScript, PHP, Java, Python, CCL, SQL and other relevant technologies. Work with Product, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to develop custom solutions.Develop tools for integration of our products within the client’s environment.Integration and Implementation
Work closely with customers to understand future state needs and, working within the team, develop automation and integrated solutions to facilitate integration between DrFirst and customer systems. Ensure seamless implementation and deployment of custom solutions within clinical workflows.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integrated products and work with client teams to resolve issues.Quality Assurance and Optimization
Conduct testing and quality assurance of custom development work to ensure functionality, performance, and securityOptimize custom solutions for performance and user experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years related experience in integration development2+ years experience in developing custom MPages within the Cerner Millennium platformDemonstrated Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Python, and CCLUnderstanding of network protocols and security, e.g. https, mTLS, OAuth, KeyCloakExperience with Cerner integration tools and methodologiesUnderstand and follow detailed instructions and guidelines accuratelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead technical conversations with client teamsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with healthcare IT and clinical workflowsExperience with other Cerner tools and applicationsKnowledge of HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability Physical Requirements 90% Desk/phone remote work10% Travel#LI-GF1 #LI-Remote
