The Sr. Network IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the IT network operations, including planning, development, and implementation of technology projects that utilize IT solutions, principles, standards, and best practices. Develops, establishes, and maintains technology standards and procedures. Throughout the project lifecycle, obtains feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and performance.

 

What You'll Do Advance enterprise infrastructure technology objectives through the implementation and operations of Enterprise Networks, WAN, and Public Cloud Network SecurityPartner with Lines of Business, Agency, and Corp IT teams to provide technology thought leadershipCollaborate with Business, Agency, and Corp IT teams to design and deliver technology solutionsShare best practices with other IT leaders and assist with cross-business activities as neededAlign programs, projects, and operations to AP’s technology strategic objectivesProduce regular project reporting to executive leadership and teamsEnsure adherence to enterprise security standards and regional regulatory policiesProvide clarity around program scope, goal and expected benefits and communicates effectivelyEscalate project issues/risks to leadership promptlyIdentify and resolve all end user service needs for the region by working with the Corporate leadersManage a portfolio of technology projects by leveraging Agency and Corp IT COEsProactively monitor technology budgets and identify savings opportunities by leveraging enterprise IT vendorsManage relationships and coordinate at various levels of regional and corporate staffCapture and help prioritize project change requests that can include new requirements, features, functions, operational constraints, regulatory demands, and technical enhancementsTravel is expected to be 20% in this role. What You'll Need Experience in managing Local Networks, Wireless, WAN, Azure/AWS, and FirewallsMastery knowledge in VLANs, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, and public cloud environmentsExperience integrating new technology platforms into existing IT infrastructure and securityExperience with new technology platforms into existing IT infrastructure and securityExtensive experience in systems architecture and IT securityFacilitation experience for conducting stakeholder meetingsExperience and ability to manage a team of offshore/near shore resourcesExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.

 

Education and/or Experience                                             

Bachelor’s degree required, or higher education level, or foreign equivalent, preferably in area with Information Technology or Software Engineering emphasis. 5 to 7 years’ professional experience, preferably in implementing enterprise solutions and infrastructure.  Professional certifications related to networking such as CCNA, CCIE, CCNP, Network+, Security+ etc. preferred.
