Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and contribute to the efficiency of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing reconciliations, credit card transactions, and other essential accounting tasks. Responsibilities: • Perform e-filing reconciliations to ensure accuracy across financial records. • Manage credit card transactions and maintain comprehensive tracking systems. • Oversee accounting request queues and address inquiries in a timely manner. • Reconcile bank accounts to align with general ledger balances. • Prepare and post journal entries for various financial activities. • Assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring all records are up-to-date. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline processes. • Collaborate with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to maintain operational flow. • Analyze general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Support ongoing initiatives to improve productivity and enhance accounting workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger operations. • Proficiency in creating and managing journal entries. • Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
