This stack processes very large amounts of free-form data using a variety of technologies such as Java, Go, Elastic, Kafka, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, Jenkins, Ansible, EKS, and others. You will have a strong influence on design and implementation, and will be a valuable mentor to other engineers in the organization.\n \nHow You’ll Find Success\n\n\nProactively identifies areas for improvement in testing processes and implements solutions\nCommunicates effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and trust\nMentors and guides other engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices\nStays up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, applying them to enhance testing efforts\nDemonstrates strong problem-solving skills and takes ownership of complex testing challenges\n\n\n \nHow You’ll Grow\n\n\nOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of a world-class platform\nExposure to a wide range of testing methodologies and tools, expanding your skill set\nMentorship from experienced engineers and the chance to grow into a technical leadership role\nParticipation in conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay at the forefront of software testing\nDrive the adoption and integration of AI and machine learning techniques into testing processes and  testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness\n\n\n \nThings You’ll Do\n\n\nDesign and implement comprehensive testing strategies, frameworks, and automation tools\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality\nCreate and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes\nDevelop and execute automated tests for the entire architecture and its components\nIdentify and prioritize critical test cases based on risk and impact\nAnalyze test results, investigate failures, and work with the team to resolve issues\nContinuously improve testing processes, optimizing for efficiency and effectiveness\nEnsure the security and performance of the platform through rigorous testing\nDive deep into Kubernetes and container orchestration to ensure seamless deployment and scalability\n\n\n \nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume\n\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field\n7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and enterprise-scale systems\nStrong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools\nProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, and JavaScript\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nPassion for quality, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset\n\n\n \nWhat You Should Know About This Team\n\nThis role involves working with a variety of XM Discover and third-party technologies to continuously test and benchmark multiple product components.
