Staff Software Engineer

OpenX is looking for a talented and highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to help us innovate and improve our products. You will work in all aspects of agile application development, including our enterprise platform that interfaces with a multitude of services that are depended on to deliver billions of requests per day. Your opinions will be important in all phases of product development, starting from requirements to validation and deployment. The team is focused on exchange features for connected devices (CTV).

You will have the possibility to work with: Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Erlang, Go, CI/CD, GitHub, Google Cloud Platform and its services like GKE, Cloud Build, BigQuery, etc.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of developersDesign high-performance, distributed, low-latency systemsDesign and implement backend service applicationsArchitect, create, and deliver new features and functionalityWork with Product to drive the requirements, and own the project end-to-endAnalyse and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processesThink long-term and be unsatisfied with band-aidsIdentify unnecessary complexity and remove itWork effectively on a team and coordinate or lead othersRequired Qualifications:Ideally 7+ years of working experience in Java, Scala or KotlinExperience with databases system design, RDBMS or NoSQLExperience Google Cloud Platform, k8s, and docker is a big advantageExperience working in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology is a big plus.Experience with Golang, Elixir, and/or Erlang is a plus.Communicative Polish and EnglishDesired Qualifications:Fluently speak algorithms and data structures and platforms (Linux)Be comfortable using the right tools and languages for the job, even brand new onesHave the ability to develop scalable, modular applicationsSCRUM / Agile environment experienceWhat we offer:Employment contract (26 350 - 31 000 PLN gross/monthly) OR B2B (208 - 240 PLN net/hourly)Working with the newest technologies such as Cloud Computing (GCP)Experienced Team (50% of the company are senior developers!)Challenges at work that are difficult to find anywhere else!Solving important problems in a scaleJoining a company that is growing and scalingFlexible working hours & remote work optionOpenX VALUESOur five company values form a solid bedrock serving to define us as a group and guide the company.
