Volt is immediately hiring a Stock Clerk Lead for a Government Distribution Company in Coronado CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a Stock Clerk Lead you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLead is responsible for wide variety of job responsibilities in all facets of the distribution center operations pertinent to their assigned area of responsibility providing leadership and direction to assigned workforce within the functional work areas.\r\n\tEnsures workforce adheres to audit readiness requirements and associated contract requirements.\r\n\tOverseeing day-to-day planning, implementation and problem-solving of a team in the performance of the team’s assignment. \r\n\tIn addition to managing the activities of the team, Team Leaders also perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.\r\n\tAdheres to audit readiness and contract requirements\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-Time Temp-To-Hire Assignment

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRequired, Must have or be able to gain US Secret Security Clearance\r\n\tPossess a valid Driver’s License.\r\n\tFluent in speaking, reading and writing the English language.\r\n\tHigh School Diploma (or equivalent)\r\n\tMust be able to pass Government Background Check (DBIDS)\r\n\tAble to work within the local Controlled Programs must be able to obtain the appropriate Security Clearance access and comply with associated contract requirements.\r\n\tExperience with HAZARDOUS Material\r\n\tAbility to operate Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts and other)\r\n\tAbility to successfully complete WMS training, OSHA compliance, DLA SOP training and various other company trainings\r\n\tUnderstanding ability to use the Government provided Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).\r\n\tFollow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating\r\n\tAble to perform Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.\r\n\tUnderstand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals.\r\n\tAble to adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures\r\n\tComprehend and understand the facility storage plan as outlined by management and SOPs.\r\n\tAbility to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $28.72 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*If employee opts out of Health benefits, $6.01 will be added to the employee's hourly rate.

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

\r\nExperience in the following is a plus:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMilitary or DLA Distribution experience a plus.\r\n\tPrevious experience in warehouse / distribution environment a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n
