Work you’ll do 

The Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist, as a part of a high-paced team, will support in the development, execution, and management of strategic workforce plans and initiatives. Collaborating with the Human Development’s Advanced Capabilities Office (HDS), they will identify skill and competency gaps, develop strategies, and provide recommendations for optimizing the workforce. They will support in conducting Job Task Analysis/Work Role Reviews, facilitating focus group discussions, synthesizing inputs from diverse sources, and creating meaningful dialogues to inform strategic decision-making. The Specialist will partner with the client to perform quality control checks on the competency library, ensuring that virtual competency guides remain accessible, current, and accurate. Knowledge of Industrial/Organizational principles is highly desired, along with basic understanding of AI and its workplace applications. The Specialist will also delve into an AI Competency Study, conducting thorough research and literature reviews on AI to provide actionable insights that can enhance workforce productivity and efficiency. Qualifications 

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive TS/SCI security clearance required 2 years + in strategic workforce planning and development of implementation plans

Preferred:

Master Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related fieldStrong understanding of Human Capital Strategic Planning MethodologyExceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in competency useExperience in conducting Job Task Analysis and Work Role ReviewsStrong analytical skillsBasic knowledge of AI and its workplace applicationsExcellent communication skills
