What You’ll Be Doing: (varies by role)

Perform Structural Analysis and Calculations: Utilize your expertise to ensure designs adhere to relevant codes and regulations, providing the foundation for safe and innovative structural solutions. Design and Development: Create structural plans, drawings, and specifications for a wide range of projects, considering loading conditions, material properties, and environmental factors. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated and innovative solutions for our projects. Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct on-site evaluations to assess existing structures and identify potential design challenges, contributing to the development of effective solutions. Engineering Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical documents, and presentations for both internal teams and clients. Utilization of Design Tools: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools to produce accurate and detailed structural designs. Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drafters, fostering their professional development within the team.

 

Who We’re Looking For: (varies by role)

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Risa, RAM, ETABS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). In-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE). problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements. Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate within a team and engage with clients. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with sustainable and seismic design principles is a plus.
