Job Description
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer E.I.T. for a leading manufacturer in Central Ohio. This manufacturer specializes in engineered wood products, structural components, and construction systems for the commercial construction industry. The end clients predominantly include retail and fast-food restaurants. As an Engineer in Training, you will play a key role in the design of product solutions, ensuring clear communication of product and installation requirements.
ResponsibilitiesDesign products using Revit engineering softwareCoordinate and oversee communication between in-house design technicians and professional engineersProduce and review shop drawings and designsProvide technical support for Technical Sales RepresentativesDevelop design methodologies, product testing, and literatureEssential SkillsProficiency in RevitExperience in structural engineering and civil engineeringKnowledge of wood framing and structural designAbility to produce structural drawings and designsPossess an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or on trackAdditional Skills & QualificationsGraduated with a 4-year degree in Civil EngineeringCompleted the F.E. exam or have intentions of passing the F.E. exam within the next monthExperience with AutoCAD architectural/structural softwareWork Environment
This position is on-site at the Delaware, OH office. The start time ranges from 7am to 8am, with an 8-hour workday from Monday to Friday. The work environment includes opportunities to work with a manufacturer that has long-standing partnerships with major clients such as Chick-Fil-A, Wendy's, and McDonald's
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $39.00/hr.
