Supply Chain Intern

GAF is looking for a Supply Chain Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or Business. In an effort to improve alignment of resources, equipment and long term procurement strategies, we will be identifying forklift equipment needs to include but not limited to equipment specifications, lease agreements, owned equipment (age and condition) and accessory attachments across the GAF network.  

Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research of data regarding forklifts across all GAF locations

Site location   

Size (weight & lift capacity)

Department assigned

Owned and leased

Age and condition of equipment owned

Term of lease and leasing company

Attachments and accessories

Current forklift safety related standards and accessories

Current maintenance programs (internal and external)

Means of power per forklift (propane, diesel, electric, etc)

Cost of upkeep as it pertains to GAF owned equipment as well as leased equipment (if information is available)

Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety team to determine safety features required for current equipment and help to set standards for future equipment purchases and leases.

Under This Roof, We Require  

The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between May 2026 and December 2027

Strong communication skills and attention to detail 

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.
