Supply Technician

The Supply Systems Analyst will serve as the key interface between the Logistics Management Branch and the Contract Manager. Key functional responsibilities include:

Manage the inventory team that is responsible for an annual audit of government property Develop procedures and processes for planning and conducting inventories in accordance with NASA regulations.  Work with Property Team regarding Government property management, policy review, internal auditing, and reporting as required in accordance with the NPD 4200.1G Develop and implement corrective action plans when discrepancies are found. Coordinate inventory scheduling activities that assure adequate validation and customer readiness. Interface with the LaRC SEMO (Supply and Equipment Management Officer) on all aspects of the Property Control. Manage the RFID inventory program from Langley Research Center and be available to offer assistance to other NASA centers that are starting the same program Maintain RFID database, software (AssetTrak, EnaTrak, etc.), and scanners Communicating with vendors and other support companies for the proper maintenance of RFID hardware/software Manage the implementation of RFID tags Training inventory team on RFID hardware/software Develop and propose various metrics for the Logistics Management Branch Maintain monthly metrics for LMB as well as the company project manager Support the contract manager in special projects dealing with a variety of logistical issues and concerns Respond to government action items to ensure timely completion of requirements This position acts as the on site Safety representative for Alutiiq so working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations are preferred. The Supply and Equipment Analyst must possess good communication skills, verbal and written, to interface with technical and non-technical personnel in the performance of this position.
