Surgical Technologist - Part Time
Job Description

As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in doing what you do best - working with the entire surgical team to provide top quality care to our patients. Requirements: 

Graduate of an accredited operating room technical program.Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA OR NCCT.Current BLS certification.

About the Job:

Maintaining the sterile environment of the operating room until the patient is brought to the recovery roomSterilizing the equipment and operating roomHelping with preparing the patient for surgery Gathering, counting, and arranging the equipment and surgical tools needed during the surgeryPreparing patients for the procedureKeeping the operating room sterilePassing surgical tools to the surgeon and the surgeon’s assistantAssisting in retracting tissues from the surgical patientCounting all of the tools and instruments used during the surgeryApplying dressings to surgical sitesDisposing of needles and gauze
