ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is the leading media company serving Hispanic America. Our powerhouse brand and extensive portfolio of Television, Audio, and Digital assets deliver an exclusive and highly engaged audience that can drive client growth. The TelevisaUnivision is seeking a highly experienced & motivated senior sales executive to lead the Consumer Packaging Goods (Big Box Retail) Sales category.

As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Partnerships TelevisaUnivision, your primary role is maximizing revenue by activating new clients and delivering outsized growth from existing ones. You are responsible for leading a dedicated team of senior business development executives, creating, and implementing sales strategies and tactical solutions supported by Univision's capabilities and extensive media portfolio to drive client impact.

Responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining C-Suite and marketing leadership relationships in the CPG – Consumer Packaging Goods category. Extensive knowledge of CPG and go-to-market strategies is essential. As SVP, Business Development, you will participate in industry conferences and engage in discussions to establish TelevisaUnivision as a thought leader and trusted advisor in the sector.

Candidate must be a strong and influential leader, have extensive sales experience, analytical, strategic, and stellar communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent storytelling abilities, and deliver marketing solutions that will drive growth for our clients.     

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Lead a team of dedicated Business Development Vice Presidents assigned to the category and personally manage a select number of accounts.Work closely with C-Suite leaders and senior sales leadershipIn partnership with executive teams, build and implement category strategies.Leverage current senior executive relationships build and develop client relationships at the C-Suite level.Work closely with internal (sales, insights, partner solutions) and external stakeholders (agency leadership)Develop agenda and lead monthly Tiger teams aimed at elevating internal stakeholder understanding of the category and reporting overall category performance.Maintain EVP, Chief Growth Officer, President of Sales and Marketing informed on category development efforts and progress/challenges/opportunities.Proactively work with internal stakeholders to develop category solutions.Participate in industry events & conferences to position TU as a thought leader and trusted advisor.Take a lead role in client meetings with TU senior leadership and client C-SuiteEnsure TU presentations and discussions are compelling and accelerate client advertising activity.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree required or at least 10+ years of Marketing/Sales/ CPG/Big Box RetailExtensive experience in sales/business development capacity working directly with high-level decision makers: C-Suite, SVPs/VPs/Directors of Marketing, Brand Managers, and Account leads/Media Director at agencies.Domain expertise in the CPGEstablished strong relationships/connections with C-Suite decision-makers in the category.Strong analytical and communication skills

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing and able to travel to meet with clients.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.

Base pay Range - $250,000 - $400,000+ benefits
