How A Systems Administrator Senior Will Make An Impact:

Manages the organization’s computer systems’ workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and softwareProvides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architecturesTroubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issuesTrains end users on the proper use of hardware and softwarePerforms software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesMonitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levelsEnsures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutionsEvaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies


What You'll Need To Succeed:

Education: DoD IAT Level II Certification and a B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.Required Experience: 3+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Experience with Windows Server and Workstation administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Office / O365, VMware, comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications, experience maintaining file / print / application servers,Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ CI PolygraphRequired Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently under general supervisionPreferred Skills: Experience with monitoring SIEM solutions, HP thin client administration, patching and backup technologies, AWS and/or Azure cloud environmentsLocation: On Customer Site in Chantilly, VAUS Citizenship Required
