At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Systems Administrator joining our team to provide Tier 2 support to Tier 1 System Administrators of a mission system. The person in this role shall provide support to mission system users in the event Tier 1 system admins are unable to resolve, capture system issues and track through an enterprise incident management tool and capture metrics of system performance, and production issues or anomalies. Additionally, you shall provide regular operational system health and status reports, to include anomalous events, DRs, and system load/usage, to the Sponsor PM or delegate at a frequency and format provided by the Sponsor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated experience with MS Windows engineering.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex networking issues.Demonstrated experience in a tiered network help desk environment.Demonstrated experience capturing metrics related to system performance.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated experience and familiarity with mission operations.Demonstrated experience and familiarity with operational mission messaging system.Demonstrated experience and familiarity with the legacy commercial development platform.
