What Will You Be Doing?

The Technician III will perform the following activities:

Responsible for the day-to-day support of the DC National Guard to include servers, virtual hosts, storage, and other data center infrastructure. Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices . Monitor system and service performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. Act as an escalation resource for lower level technicians. Verify all systems and applications align with appropriate compliance. Manage personal projects as required and may include projects within the team. Liaise with other technical teams to determine enterprise solutions or resolve complex problems. Conduct research on new infrastructure as needed throughout the environment. Give direction and support to less experienced engineers, and encourage best practice.
