Responsibilities

 

The Systems Architect will support enterprise Information Technology (IT) through expertise in Systems Engineer and Software Development.  The Systems Architect will develop architectures to Integrate full IT stack technologies across global enterprise computer systems and networks in a secure multi-cloud environment.  The Systems Architect will also be responsible for architecting data management solutions to include data tagging, cataloging, security, governance, and access control.

Document architectural rules Diagram interim and future architectures that capture the transition from current to futureDefine/communicate the integration expectations for all ITE services across the architecture Develop design patterns that non-enterprise services/systems can use to achieve ZTA Maintain consistency with IC direction Create a ZTA playbook based upon the architectural rules Brief all the above when needed at working levels, corporate boards, and IC engagements  Qualifications Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraphA degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+Demonstrated knowledge solutions to complex applications problemsAnalyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitationsDemonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and metadata management best practicesExperience with successful full life-cycle software development projectsAbility to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories; For example, this may include experience with Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), application integration technologies and approaches, Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing solutions, data management technologies Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), Data Profiling, Data Mining, Metadata Repositories)
