Systems Engineer I

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Daily administration of physical and virtual server environments. User account and access provisioning. Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Ensure system data recoverability by implementing and managing regular system backups. Design, build, configure, and deploy systems to support new company initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, or a closely related field. Security+, Network+, Server+, MCSA, MCSE certifications desirable. 3+ years progressive experience in IT, healthcare preferred. 1+ years experience in a System Administration/Engineering role required. Experience with Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, Active Directory, and Group Policy administration required. Experience with SAN administration, PowerShell, SCCM, WSUS, and Office365 preferred. Core Competencies: Ability to express complex technical concepts and communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and supervisors. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems. Attention to detail. Security conscious. Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.

Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00/hr

Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.

In addition, Oswego Health includes the Oswego Health captive professional corporation, Physician Care P.C., providing physician services in orthopedics, cardiology, ENT, gastroenterology, breast care, audiology, general surgery, bariatrics, and primary care.
