The Position: As a Systems Engineer in the Product Development team, you will play a key role in the shaping of our new product feature developments. Working with Product Management, Applications Engineering, and the Product Development teams you will use your knowledge of embedded system architecture and state-of-the-art technologies to take high level requirements and customer use cases to define system architectures, functional requirements, and implementation strategies. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can see “the big picture” and then is easily able to understand how a capability transcends between domains to guide the development team on implementation details. The Day to Day: Using your system knowledge, define and capture the requirements, architecture, and implementation strategy for our product features Collaborate with Product Management, Applications Engineering, and Development Engineers on defining solutions meeting product requirements and customer use cases Designing architectures and developing proof-of-concept implementations to meet the current and future needs of our customers Mentoring and guiding other engineers on architectural implementations and design best-practices Provide consultancy, analysis, and technical expertise to customer requirements.
