Key Responsibilities

Software Architecture & DevelopmentDesign and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, Java, and C++.Architect and optimize Windows services, self-hosted WCF services, and IIS-hosted web applications.Oversee front-end development with jQuery, KnockoutJS, and Bootstrap to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.Design and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.Manage legacy systems while planning and executing modernization strategies.

Technical Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and system design.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Development Tools & Process Management

Utilize Visual Studio, JIRA, Bitbucket, and SVN (archive) for software development and version control.Optimize workflows and integration with JIRA for issue tracking and Bitbucket/SVN for source control.Enforce best practices in code management, branching strategies, and automated builds.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in software development, with a focus on .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Windows Services).Strong expertise in C#/.NET Framework, Java, and C++ (legacy modules).Proficiency in front-end technologies (jQuery, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap).Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).Knowledge of Windows Installer development for software distribution.Experience in IIS-hosted web applications and Windows service management.Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.Experience with cloud migration or hybrid architectures.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for modernizing applications.Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to DevOps practices for deployment automation.
