Technical Project Manager
As a Technical Program Manager at BDG, you will be essential in ensuring all engineering products and services are successfully delivered (e.g. against scope, cost, time, quality) and maintained through business operations. You will be responsible for aligning cross-functional stakeholders on initiatives that work toward larger organizational goals. This includes oversight of the full project lifecycle from inception to implementation with the ability to manage multiple project statuses and teams. 
You will also be heavily involved in user acquisition efforts and will need a strategic and results-driven mindset. You’ll align engineering, revenue operations, business intelligence, and editorial on how to run a/b tests, report on results, and measure success. This position sits within the engineering org, and you will need to have the technical prowess to understand software development and implementation well enough to break down these concepts to other organizational stakeholders. Core ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement and manage large scale concurrent technical projectsDevelop strong cross-functional business relationships with senior and mid-level executivesDemonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and influence others to ensure successful project deploymentUnderstands key business and technology drivers, ideally within the media/publishing industryProven ability to manage cross-functional teams through influence where direct reporting lines do not existProven ability to ensure projects meet or exceed organizational KPIsManage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions5+ years program or project management experienceThe candidate must have proven experience working in a complex, matrixed environment, managing multiple stakeholdersStrong negotiation and issue resolution skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including executive leadershipExpert understanding of project & program management processesSolid understanding of software development life cycleAn understanding of digital media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and media distribution technologies is preferred, but not required$180,000 - $190,000 a yearBDG is one of today’s leading global media companies with a portfolio of distinct digital and experiential brands that are shaping culture through its authentic and trusted storytelling.
