Temporary Summer Production Team Member

Weyerhaeuser is currently seeking Summer Hires. This position is a temporary summer position. The primary job is to support the Weyerhaeuser McComb Mill by filling vacancies while associates are on vacation. It Includes active involvement and support of mill and team goals and expectations relative to safety, housekeeping, quality and cost within the confines of the Weyerhaeuser McComb Sawmill environment. The candidate will need to be able to work any shift and/or weekends.

Key Requirements:

Must be 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or GEDMust successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physicalMust be willing to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas.Able to bend, twist, stoop, push and pull and able to lift on occasion up to 50 poundsMust be able and willing to work within safe work practicesMust have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verballyAble and willing to read and comprehend technical and non-technical informationAble to work in a cooperative team structured work system and meet changing requirements and needsAble and willing to work weekends and holidays if neededAble to meet attendance requirementsAble to perform other duties as assigned or required
