Test Kitchen Associate (Full Time) 

A motivated and thoughtful culinary professional who is organized, focused, detail oriented and knowledgeable in both cooking and baking. You will be an integral part of our kitchen team with a passion for food, product and hospitality. You have amazing attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to work both on a team and independently. You uphold both our brand and culinary standards of excellence and are comfortable working on multiple projects at once. You are creative, and have a strong desire to learn and grow into other facets of the job, such as on-screen talent for content, recipe concepting and development. 

 

Requirements: 

Proficient in both cooking and baking  Proficient in recipe testing and writing  Strong aesthetic point of view that is on-brand and up to WS standards  Organized, motivated, fast-paced, adaptable    Culinary school is a nice to have, not need to have but experience in restaurants is highly encouraged 

 

Responsibilities: 

Conduct food development tests (this requires managing multiple cooking projects at once with extreme attention to detail and time management)  Responsible for managing your schedule, and knowing the kitchen production and recipe/project deliverable schedule Retest scratch recipes, provide clear and concise notes and feedback to better the cooking experience and outcome for the homecook  Assist in food tastings with product development and leadership team Manage product samples with merchants for recipe development, and product testing  Maintain cleanliness of workstation, storage area and kitchen Mise/prep recipes for video shoots ensuring all ingredients are organized and visually appealing  Potential Test Kitchen talent for social and video content 

 The expected starting pay range for this position is $28 - $30 hourly. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
